P.I.B. (polyisobutylene) is a type of rubber roof, often fleece-backed and much heavier than any other type of rubber roof. Seams, penetrations, and any damaged areas may be repaired using Roofab polyester fabric stippled into a wet coat of Polaroof NW ethylene elastomer coating and thoroughly saturated from the surface. A basecoat and topcoat of Polaroof NW ethylene elastomer coating in black or any suitable color may be used to protect and extend the lifespan of this type of roof.
