PMR APPLICATION

Protected Membrane Roof (PMR): an insulated and ballasted roofing assembly, in which the insulation and ballast are applied on top of the membrane (sometimes referred to as an "inverted roof assembly").

Inverted Roof Membrane Assembly (IRMA tm): a patented, proprietary variation of the "Protected Membrane Roof Assembly" in which Styrofoam® Brand Insulation and ballast are placed over the roof membrane. IRMA tm and Styrofoam® are registered trademarks of the Dow Chemical Company

	This picture shows the application of Andek RoofdX Super and Roofab around all the penetrations through the roof and 90 degree flashing details.

		Here we see the Roofab being embedded in Polaroof RAC. This is the first application, directly to the roof deck.

		Here we see the second coat being applied. This is a coat of RoofdX Super.



		Here is an overview, showing the old system being removed (in the foreground) and the coating membrane being applied (in the background) Before the drainage mat and foam boards and ballast are laid, (shown in the foreground) a topcoat of RAC is applied.
