The owners of these tanks needed to store very hot liquids. The tanks were first primed with Andek Polaprime 21 and then covered with 3 inches of Demilec high temperature 218 spray-applied foam. This was followed by 20 mils of Andek Firegard. The contractor who applied the foam and coatings was Future Insulation, who has insulated over 500 tanks in the last 20 years.
These tanks were primed with Andek Polaprime 21, then covered with 3" of high temp. foam, and finally coated with Andek Firegard sage green.
